In the heart of Milan, Fashion Cafè represents our attempt in understanding the city’s way of “living”. A combination of fast-paced, frenetic work environment and an energetic, outright way of relaxation. This brought us to develop a space attempting to confront the different velocities of living it. Space itself, in a historical building, designed by Vico Magistretti in the 50’s, surrounded by art galleries and shops, provides an appealing combination of calmness and relaxation without breaking away from the city’s cultural and contemporary lifestyle. The geometrical forms proposed in the interior, the usage of the materials and lighting are a romantic reversion of the 60’s, aesthetics – dominantly Italian with an American flavor.
